Some tips:
- Put n/a for those fields which are not applicable. (example is #12)
- Put "Vacation" for the purpose of entry
- Ensure to fill out the application form as clearly as possible
- For the photo, passport size with white background
- Ensure you put the telephone number of your employer in the certificate of employment
- For the bank certificate, at least 50 thousand pesos is enough as your show money
- For ITR, you can submit your latest 2316.
2. Go to Korean embassy. Be on time!
- Submission of visa requirements: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (Monday - Friday)
- Releasing of visa: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
I went there by 8:00 am to avoid long lines and the consul started accepting requirements by 8:45 am. I was able to finish the visa processing not more than 10 minutes. :)
3. The judgement day!
For non OECD member countries - visa processing is 5 days
If you hold a visa in any of the OECD member countries - visa processing is 3 days
After a week of waiting, I came back to the embassy hoping for a granted visa. Luckily, I got APPROVED! See you South Korea! ^^,
Some tips:
- In some cases, people got denied due to employment reason (example is when you landed to a new job before you apply for a visa) As a tip, do not resign when you don't have a visa yet. :)
- If you got denied, don't lose hope! You can apply for reconsideration and they will give you advice on how to get approved.
