South Korea: Itinerary & Budget Expenses

Our DIY itinerary for 7days and 6 nights. ^^,

How to apply for Korean Visa (For Filipinos)

Applying for a Korean visa is easy as 1-2-3. Filipinos are required to get there visa in order for you to enter South Korea. Visa is free when you stay for 59 days only.

Step 1: Gather all the requirements

You can visit South Korea Embassy for the details of the visa requirements and visa application form.

Here are the lists that I submit in Korean embassy (For Employees)

You can download the application here.

Some tips:
- Put n/a for those fields which are not applicable. (example is #12)
- Put "Vacation" for the purpose of entry
- Ensure to fill out the application form as clearly as possible
- For the photo, passport size with white background
- Ensure you put the telephone number of your employer in the certificate of employment
- For the bank certificate, at least 50 thousand pesos is enough as your show money
- For ITR, you can submit your latest 2316.

2. Go to Korean embassy. Be on time!

- Submission of visa requirements: 9:00 am - 11:00 am (Monday - Friday)
- Releasing of visa: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Monday - Friday)

I went there by 8:00 am to avoid long lines and the consul started accepting requirements by 8:45 am. I was able to finish the visa processing not more than 10 minutes. :)

3. The judgement day!

For non OECD member countries - visa processing is 5 days
If you hold a visa in any of the OECD member countries - visa processing is 3 days

After a week of waiting, I came back to the embassy hoping for a granted visa. Luckily, I got APPROVED! See you South Korea! ^^,

Some tips:
- In some cases, people got denied due to employment reason (example is when you landed to a new job before you apply for a visa) As a tip, do not resign when you don't have a visa yet. :)
- If you got denied, don't lose hope! You can apply for reconsideration and they will give you advice on how to get approved.

Hong Kong Trip: The Comeback

And I'm back! After 4 years bumalik ulet ako sa Hong Kong para sa aking pre-birthday celebration / reward sa aking sarili. Thank you Cebu Pacific para sa aming promo ticket! :)

Due to bad weather condition sa HK, nasira yung supposed to be itinerary namin. Mostly ng mga places na gusto kong mapuntahan for the first time ay hindi namin napuntahan dahil na din sa walang tigil na pagulan. (Anyways, meron pa namang next time..ipon ipon na lang ulet). Kahit umulan man o umaraw, enjoy pa din.

Day 1: Arrival in Hong Kong International Airport

FYI:
Step 1: Pay travel tax (1620/adult + 200 processing fee)
Step 2: Go to Cebu Pacific counter / check in your baggage
Step 3: Pay terminal fee (550/adult)
Step 4: Go to immigration

around 8:00 am kami nakalapag sa HK airport, dumaan sa immigration then kinuha ung mga baggage and were ready to go!

Estimated 1 hour ung biyahe namin at dahil first time matry magbus ayun lumagpas kami, from bus stop # 7 napunta kami sa bus stop # 9.

A21 bus to/from :
Airport Passenger Terminal, Lantau Link Toll Plaza, Hoi Lai Estate / AquaMarine, Sham Shui Po (Nam Cheong / Fu Cheong), Tai Kok Tsui, Prince Edward, Mong Kok, Yau Ma Tei, Jordan, Tsim Sha Tsui / Hung Hom Station

Nagstay kami sa Rail Lei Hotel, from Bus stop # 7 (Bank Centre), baba kayo dun tas maglakad kayo backwards for about 30 seconds at makikita nyo ung Rex building. Akyat kayo dun sa building then may 2 elevators, ung isa ay even numbers at ung isa ay odd numbers. Reception is on the 4th floor kaya dun kami sa even numbers na elevator.
Review: Good location, spacious room for 6 adults, near ladies market. :)

feeling turista :)

Day 2: Hong Kong Disneyland
Happy kid indeed!

wefie muna bago pumunta sa cable car

Happiest place on earth! :)

Day 3: Day tour in Macau

(fanatic talaga!)

After namin maikot ung Venetian hotel, nagdecide na sila bumalik sa HK. Hay naku ulan, sirang sira itinerary ko! T_T

hulaan nyo kung ano sinasayaw nila. :)

@ Ladies Market again and again

Day 4: Good bye Hong Kong

Time to say goodbye again! :(

hindi naubos ung pocket money ko! :D

at dito natatapos ang 4 days adventure namin sa HK with family, be back here again soon at pramis itatapat ko na sa hindi maulan na season! :))
